The Business Interchange Terms & Conditions

  1. All TBI groups report to TBI Ltd.
     
  2. Each group will elect the following personnel:
    Chairperson
    Vice Chair
    Treasurer
    Membership Secretary
    Referral Secretary
    Social Secretary
    Speaker Secretary
    One person may hold more than one position if agreed by the Group.
     
  3. The Treasurer of each group will be responsible for monitoring the bank account and forwarding membership fees and accounts to TBI Ltd.
     
  4. The Membership Secretary of each group will be responsible for monitoring and co-ordinating new members and forwarding membership forms to TBI Ltd.
     
  5. The Referral Secretary of each group will be responsible for monitoring and recording referrals, leads and turnover and forwarding to TBI Ltd.
     
  6. Members may join more than one group, provided they pay a membership fee and breakfast fee for each group to which they belong.
     
  7. All TBI stationery should be ordered through Steve Wilson at TBI Chichester or TBI Ltd.
     
  8. No restrictions will be placed on the location of potential new members.  Membership will be on a “first come, first served” basis and not on being located in the Group’s home town.
     
  9. Any conflicts of interest should be dealt with at group level before being referred to TBI Ltd.
     
  10. Members agree to generate qualified business leads and referrals for group members to enable the businesses represented and the Group to grow and flourish.
     
  11. Members agree to support new and existing businesses in the area covered through the expertise of group members, and through this effort to obtain qualified leads and referrals for members.
     
  12. Groups will conduct development sessions and presentations on particular topics of interest to local business to further the promotion and development of the Group.
     

Membership Rules

  1. Endeavour to refer business and supply business leads to other members of wherever possible.
  2. Only one member may represent any particular type of business.
  3. When a member undertakes a 10 minute presentation, he/she must supply a prize worth at least £10 for a draw using the referral slips passed during the breakfast among the members present.
  4. Contribute wherever possible to the growth and future well-being of the Group.
  5. Endeavour to introduce at least one new visitor per month
  6. Pay the annual fee.
  7. Pay, on standing order, a weekly breakfast/meeting fee.  This is payable whether or not the member attends to encourage regular attendance.
  8. Endeavour to send a substitute when unable to attend.
